About OXC.

Where the opportunity is.

Franchised automotive retail is one of the most resilient cash-flowing categories in private markets. It is also one of the hardest to enter. The OEM controls the brand and the right to operate the store. The dealer principal controls the relationships and the timing. The operator carries the day-to-day. No deal closes unless all three are aligned. Most deals do not get that far.

The industry is in the middle of a generational shift. Dealer principals who built groups over decades are thinking about succession, expansion, and exit. Capital is moving into automotive retail at a pace the industry has never seen, much of it from family offices and private investors with no operator and no path through the OEM approval process. And between them sit the operators. General managers and platform leaders ready for ownership, capable of running stores, blocked from the rooms where ownership is decided.

The industry has more capable operators than ever. It has more capital than ever. It has more dealers exploring options than ever. What it lacks is the structure that aligns the three.

Why we do this.

OperatorX Capital was founded by Steven Adragna, who has spent more than two decades inside automotive retail. Leading stores as a General Manager, developing operators, and building the recruiting platform that connected operators with dealer groups across the industry. He has placed talent, structured leadership transitions, and worked directly with family offices and private capital seeking vetted entry into automotive retail. That work produced a view of the industry very few people have. Every side of the table, at the same time.

The pattern was consistent. Exceptional operators kept hitting ceilings that had nothing to do with performance. Strong capital wanted into the industry but had no way to evaluate operators or source qualified deals. Dealer principals needed real options for succession and expansion. There was no structure bringing the three sides together.

OXC exists to be that structure.

What we've done.

OXC is currently engaged on 25+ franchised dealership acquisitions across the country. The pipeline spans first-time buyers, multi-store expansions, and operator-led acquisitions backed by family office and private capital. OEM coordination, capital structuring, and operator alignment run in parallel across every active deal.

200+ general managers and operators have moved through OXC engagements. The network spans single-store leaders, platform executives, and OEM-approved candidates across the major brands.

OXC is not a fund. OXC is not a brokerage. It is an operator and capital platform built specifically for franchised dealership acquisitions. Every transaction is evaluated across operator readiness, capital fit, OEM alignment, and seller objectives before it moves forward. OEM relationships are preserved throughout. Discussions remain confidential. Engagement is direct.

This is the work the industry needed. OXC does it.
